One apple should not make the entire batch bad but one worker in there is not worth being employed there. Gave her my card in her hand and this azz threw my card done on the counter. The more people change, the more they stay the same…and yes she was white and I was black.

Come here for the subs and special sauce and ignore everything else. It is worth the wait every time. A Newport News local find. If we are traveling nearby we always stop and sometimes will transport subs up the east coast to relatives in Richmond and DC!

Great place for a casual lunch. Something about the way they toast their subs just puts them over the top. Secret sauce is addictive. Very poputar with the locals. Not a chain. They've been doing this for 50 years and are my go-to for subs.
